Real estate outlook for the year ahead
We’re entering the year with a market that feels more balanced and thoughtful. Buyers are gaining a bit more breathing room, taking time to compare options and negotiate, while sellers who price well and prepare properly are still seeing strong results. Interest rate stability should bring more confidence into the market, especially for first-time buyers & move-up buyers who have been waiting on the sidelines. Experts now say that there is a chance Interest Rates might go up in 2026.
Overall, we expect steady activity rather than dramatic swings - a market that rewards good strategy, local knowledge & patience. As always, real estate remains highly neighbourhood-specific, and we’ll continue to focus on helping our clients make smart, well-timed decisions based on their goals, not headlines.
